Whether you are getting started in creating your business or are a veteran in your industry, you’ve likely explored the process of creating the visual elements of your brand or remodeling them entirely. Business branding can seem like a blessing and a curse with the many different color options and fonts, but oftentimes it’s deeper than that. When you’re developing your visual and online identity, you want your branding to stand out and attract clients who feel your vibe. Whether that’s clean and modern, deep and meaningful, short and sweet – you get the idea. Communicating your brand online is so much more than the former mentioned fonts and colors. It’s something much, much more. Moreso, quality design and brand personality can significantly impact your search engine optimization presence.
That all-in-one person you’ve been looking for to design you a stunning website and cultivate your business branding in a way that ensures you stand out in your industry? I’m thrilled to introduce her to you. Brynn is the owner of Amber Isle Co. – a company dedicated to creating bespoke website design and business branding. Her process feels different right from the start. There’s this deep sense of intentionality and purpose that goes into her questionnaire, and each conversation throughout your project is rooted in the vision of a bigger picture.
Brynn is who I hired to do my own website, so I’m telling y’all, I trust her and her skillset for absolutely anyone. Here’s a peek at what she offers:
Q: Where do you draw your inspiration from when it comes to business branding and website design?
A: I’m an observer by heart. I take things in visually throughout every day whether it’s a building sign, photograph, book cover – and take mental notes and store them to use at a later date.
Q: There’s so much information out there when it comes to where a business owner should start with their online business presence. How do you like to encourage them to get back to basics?
A: The one thing that I hated seeing when I was building my business were all of these preset templates and step-by-step guidelines on how to create your online space. I’d like to think we’re so much more unique than that. I’d say start with 2 things – what you actually want to accomplish with this, and how you want your customers to feel when they meet you. By doing those things you’ll have something that you’re proud of because of the experience that your brand creates that allows you to show it off with gusto. And secondly, you’ll create forward progress by setting something in place that will allow you to grow in the way you hope to.
Q: Getting started can be the hardest part for so many people. What’s one step you’d encourage business owners to take to get the ball rolling on their branding or website vision?
A: It doesn’t have to be perfect. That’s the biggest – just start, go, and as you get further along you’ll start to tweak and refine but don’t think that is going to come on your first try. But to actually move… find inspiration (whether that’s an image, an existing brand, nature, etc) and emulate the visual components it has within everything that you do.
